Ian Spencer Bell is a dancer and a poet. The New York Times describes his work as “autobiography, written in bodies.” His first performances were danced outdoors and awarded a grant from the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts. He has performed his solos at Boston Center for the Arts, Jacob’s Pillow, Poetry Foundation, and Queens Museum. Ballet Review, Dance Magazine, Movement Research, and The Yale Review have published his writing.
